SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

This Shipping & Delivery Policy forms part of the Terms & Conditions of Sowjanya Silks Pvt. Ltd. (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and applies to all orders placed on www.sowjanyasilks.com.

1. ORDER PROCESSING

  • 1.1 Orders are processed within 2 business days from payment confirmation.
  • 1.2 Orders are processed only on business days (Monday–Saturday, excluding public holidays).
  • 1.3 Orders placed on Sundays or holidays will be processed on the next business day.

2. SHIPPING TIMELINES

Domestic Shipping (India):

  • Dispatch Timeline: 1–2 business days
  • Delivery Timeline: 3–10 business days (approximate)

International Shipping:

  • International orders may be processed offline.
  • Customers may contact via Email / WhatsApp with SKU reference.
  • Shipping timelines vary based on destination; delivery timelines are indicative and not guaranteed.

3. SHIPPING CHARGES

  • Shipping charges are calculated at checkout.
  • Taxes and shipping charges are additional unless specified otherwise.
  • Free shipping promotions, if any, are subject to change without notice.

4. SHIPPING PARTNERS

Orders are shipped through reputed third-party logistics partners. Once shipped, the responsibility for delivery lies with the logistics provider. We are not liable for courier delays, transit damage, or delivery exceptions beyond our control.

5. ORDER TRACKING

Tracking details will be shared via Email or WhatsApp (if applicable). Customers are responsible for tracking shipments and ensuring availability for delivery.

6. DELIVERY ATTEMPTS

Courier partners typically make 2–3 delivery attempts. If delivery fails due to customer unavailability, incorrect address, or non-response, the shipment may be returned to us. Re-shipping charges shall be borne by the customer.

7. DELIVERY INSPECTION

Customers must inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the package appears tampered, damaged, or opened, the customer must record an unboxing video and notify us within 48 hours. Failure to do so may result in claim rejection.

8. DAMAGE / SHORTAGE CLAIMS

  • Must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Must include continuous unboxing video.
  • Photos must clearly show packaging and product.
  • Claims without proper documentation may be rejected.

9. RISK TRANSFER

Risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer upon successful delivery.

10. FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for shipping delays due to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Political disturbances
  • Pandemic disruptions
  • Logistics strikes
  • Government restrictions
