RETURNS, REFUNDS & EXCHANGE POLICY

This Returns, Refunds & Exchange Policy applies to all purchases made from Sowjanya Silks Pvt. Ltd.

1. GENERAL POLICY

  • 1.1 Due to the nature of sarees and textiles, all sales are final.
  • 1.2 Returns, refunds, or exchanges are permitted only under limited circumstances.

2. ELIGIBLE RETURN CONDITIONS

Returns are accepted only in the following cases:

  • Damaged product
  • Defective product
  • Incorrect product shipped

All return requests are subject to approval by Sowjanya Silks.

3. RETURN REQUEST TIMELINE

Return requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.

Requests must include:

  • Order number
  • Product images
  • Unboxing video

Failure to provide required documentation may result in rejection.

4. RETURN CONDITIONS

Returned products must be:

  • Unused
  • Unwashed
  • Unaltered
  • With original tags intact
  • In original packaging
    Products not meeting these conditions will not be accepted.

5. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Blouse stitched items
  • Customized products
  • Discounted / sale items
  • Slight colour variations
  • Handloom irregularities

Note: These are not considered defects.

6. REFUND POLICY

  • 6.1 Refunds will be processed only after product inspection.
  • 6.2 Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days.
  • 6.3 Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the wrong or damaged product was delivered.

  • Wrong product shipped
  • Damaged product delivered

7. EXCHANGE POLICY

Exchange may be offered only if: 

  • Product is defective
  • Wrong product delivered

Exchange is subject to stock availability. 

If replacement is unavailable, refund will be processed.  

8. CANCELLATION POLICY

Orders once placed and paid cannot be cancelled.

However, Sowjanya Silks reserves the right to cancel orders due to:

  • Stock unavailability
  • Pricing error
  • Fraud detection

Refunds will be issued in such cases.

9. RETURN SHIPPING

If return is approved:

  • Return pickup may be arranged OR
  • Customer may be requested to ship product

Return shipping responsibility:

  • Company bears cost (defective / wrong item)
  • Customer bears cost (other approved cases)

10. REFUND TIMELINES

  • Refund Processing: 5–7 business days
  • Bank Credit: 5–10 business days

11. POLICY ABUSE

We reserve the right to:

  • Reject repeat claims
  • Deny returns for suspicious requests
  • Blacklist fraudulent users
